If the surface contains these substances, they must be mechanically removed. Apply wall base into adhesive while it is fresh, ensuring 90% of the adhesive transfers.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e3. Roll entire surface to ensure full contact, always working back toward the last\u003cbr\u003epiece installed. Tip: Bringing in the base from an excessively hot or cold vehicle, or throwing the base over your shoulder and allowing the box to break in the middle, can cause problems later with expansion and contraction. Acclimation and proper handling of the base according to the manufacturer’s recommendations are crucial. Gapped or peaked joints could occur if the base is abused or not acclimated properly.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e4.
