The Schluter® KERDI-DRAIN is a high-performance floor drain specifically designed for use with Schluter®-KERDI and other load-bearing bonded waterproof membranes. Its integrated bonding flange allows the waterproof membrane to be securely adhered directly to the drain, creating a reliable and watertight connection at the surface of the shower assembly.
KERDI-DRAIN consists of a durable drain casing and a fully adjustable grate assembly or tile-in covering support, allowing precise alignment with ceramic or stone tile installations. The adjustable grate system accommodates a wide range of tile thicknesses and allows vertical, lateral, and tilt adjustments for a clean, professional finish. The tile-in covering support sits flush with the bonding flange, allowing seamless integration for a nearly invisible drainage line.
The standard KERDI-DRAIN connects directly to the waste line and is suitable for both new construction and renovation projects. Drain casings are available in ABS, PVC, or stainless steel. Plastic drain casings feature a fleece-covered bonding flange and are available with 2" (50 mm) or 3" (75 mm) outlets, installed using appropriate solvent cement. Stainless steel drain casings are available with 2" or 3" no-hub outlets or a 2" threaded outlet, offering flexible installation options.
Adaptor Kit Compatibility
KERDI-DRAIN adaptor kits are designed to convert traditional clamping ring drains into integrated bonding flange drains when removal is not practical, such as drains set in concrete slabs. Available in 5-1/4" (133 mm) and 7-1/2" (191 mm) diameters, adaptor kits are compatible with mortar beds and KERDI-SHOWER-T / TS / TT shower tray systems.

Maintenance
KERDI-DRAIN requires no special maintenance and is resistant to mold and fungi. The grate can be removed for routine cleaning of the drain housing and pipe. Clean using a neutral cleaner only. Avoid acidic, alkaline, or abrasive cleaning agents. Periodic cleaning of stainless steel components helps maintain appearance and reduces the risk of corrosion.
